On October 20-21,2019, the 4th International Conference of the Silk Road Forensic Consortium (SRFC) was successfully held in Yunnan Province under the framework of University Alliance of the Silk Road (UASR). The conference was hosted by the Science and Technology Department of Yunnan Province, the Silk Road Forensic Consortium, and the Forensic Bio-evidence Academy of XJTU. Focusing on a theme “Research and Application of Forensic Science”, the conference consisted of four keynote speeches, twenty-one invited reports, and held a Speaker-Postgraduate Academic Competition.

The conference started with the SRFC Flag Handover Ceremony and the Inauguration of the UASR Forensic Sub-alliance. On the occasion, the Sub-alliance’s mission and vision were proposed, which is to create a shared platform for all members to promote interdisciplinary cooperation and make joint contribution to the platform construction and improvement.
