From July 24 to 25, 2019, a XJTU’s delegation with members from theSchoolofAerospace Engineeringwent to the University of Manchester to attend the 3rdAerospace Sub-Alliance of Silk Road University Alliance Forum. This forum took “Aerospace Education” as the theme.
Based on the education and teaching development status of aerospace-related majors, representatives from sub-alliance universities carried out exchanges and discussions. In the poster presentation session for postgraduates, Chai Yijun and Liu Kaiyuan, students from XJTU’s School of Aerospace Engineering, won theBest Poster Award. The success of this forum promoted international exchange and cooperation between XJTU’sSchoolofAerospace Engineeringand high-level research institutions and teams in aerospace field, and advanced the construction of mechanics and aerospace subjects group.
In addition, officials of the School of Aerospace Engineering visited XJTU’s undergraduates and postgraduates participating in Xi'an Jiaotong University -- University of Manchester Summer School.
