On November 27, 2020, the 2020 Executive Council Meeting of UASR, organized by Xi’an Jiaotong University and Politecnico di Milano University, was successfully held online.

At the meeting, EC members discussed about the future development of UASR and reviewed four new membership applicants presentations.

Changzhong HE, Secretary General of UASR, presided over the meeting and delivered an opening speech, reporting on the work of the Alliance from 2019 to 2020.

After the work report, members reviewed the presentations of four observers, namely Incheon National University, North China University, Kazan National Research Technical University named after A.N. Tupole-KAI, and Soochow University.

After the presentations, Dmitry Arseniev, Vice-Rector for International Affairs at the Peter the Great St. Petersburg Polytechnic University, made four proposals concerning the sustainable development of UASR as well as joint projects.

Next, moderated by the Secretary General of UASR, Mr.HE, members expressed their views on the future development of the Alliance. Giuliano Noci, Vice-Rector for China at Politecnico di Milano University, proposed three lines of actions for the future development of the Alliance.

The meeting has facilitated communication among UASR EC members and promoted the sustainable development of the Alliance. About 30 people from 15 universities around the world attended thia meeting and they expressed thanks to the Alliance and wished the Alliance a better future.
