On November 15, 2021, the 7th Executive Council Meeting of UASR, organized by Xi’an Jiaotong University and Politecnico di Milano University, was virtual held. The Meeting was moderated by Guang XI, UASR Executive Vice Chairman, Vice-President for International Affairs, Xi'an Jiaotong University and Guiliano Noci, Vice Rector for China, Politecnico di Milano.
Changzhong HE, Secretary General of UASR delivered an opening speech, reporting on the work of the Alliance from 2020 to 2021.
After the work report, Guang XI, UASR Executive Vice Chairman, announce eight Universities officially become UASR members based on the voting process proceeding of USAR.
Next, members expressed their views on the future development of the Alliance. Giuliano Noci, Vice-Rector for China at Politecnico di Milano University, proposeda possible topic for 2022’s rotating presidency-converging cities. Since cities are crucial elements for future competitiveness of societies and industrial systems.
The meeting has facilitated communication among UASR EC members and promoted the sustainable development of the Alliance. About 24 people from 14 universities around the world attended this Meeting.
