On 14thJun. afternoon, Prof. Ghislain MONTAVON, President ofUNIVERSITÉ DE TECHNOLOGIE DE BELFORT-MONTBÉLIARD (UTBM)visited XJTU. President Prof. Shuguo WANG, warmly welcomed the delegation at 107 Science Hall, together with Vice-President Prof. Guang XI, and other representatives from Department of International Cooperation and Exchanges, School of Material Science, as well as School of Mechanical Engineering.
The recent international development of XJTU was introduced by President shuguo WANG who highlighted the conception and plan of Innovation Harbor, as well as the mission, development status and international & strategic deployment of UASR. Prof. Ghislain MONTAVON provided the basic information of UTBM and the international student exchange programs to President WANG.
Later on, the agreement of joining UASR was signed by President Shuguo WANG and President Ghislain MONTAVON.
After the meeting, President Ghislain MONTAVON visited State Key Laboratory for Mechanical Behavior of Materials (SKL-MBM) and State Key Laboratory for Manufacturing Systems Technical.
