On May 25 afternoon, Vice President Dimitry Kozorez of Moscow Aviation Institute (MAI) headed delegates of MAI, Bauman Moscow State Technical University and Moscow Power Engineering Institute to visit XJTU and send their best regards for the 121st anniversary of founding of Jiaotong University. Vice President Xi Guang met the delegation in Room 107, Science Hall. Dean Shen Shengping of School of Aerospace and Director Liang Li of Department of International Cooperation and Exchanges took part in the meeting as well.

Vice President showed his warm welcome to the delegation. He spoke highly of the contributions made by MAI, Bauman Moscow State Technical University and Moscow Power Engineering Institute to UASR since their participation in May 2015. He extended his invitation to the three universities into the 2017 Silk Road Robotics Innovation Competition (SRRIC) in a hope to strengthen exchanges and collaborations with partner universities across the world.

Vice President Dimitry Kozorez expressed his thanks to VP Xi Guang in the meeting. He mentioned MAI, Bauman Moscow State Technical University and Moscow Power Engineering Institute valued the relationship with XJTU. He further showed his gratitude for the invitation to SRRIC and acknowledged MAI would send a team for the competition.
