The activity of "The Belt and Road Intellectual Property Protection Seminar Week"will be held on May 22-27, 2019, in Xi'an Jiaotong University. This program will be held by Xi'an Jiaotong University,the University Alliance of the Silk Road and Shaanxi law society, organized byThe Belt and Road Intellectual Property Sub-Alliance of the University Alliance of the Silk Road, Intellectual Property Research Center of Xi'an Jiaotong University, Institute of Intellectual Property Law of Xi'an Jiaotong University,Law institute for science and technology of Shaanxi law society, Intellectual Property Law Institute of Xi’an law society. This Seminar Week will organize experts at domestic and abroad to give lectures with the topic of "legal issues of international cultural trade and economic cooperation, intellectual property rights theory and practice of cutting-edge issues, intellectual property rights related to financial innovation legal issues, cultural diversity and traditional knowledge and genetic resources protection of the law" and other issues. At the same time, lecture experts and master students are encouraged to conduct in-depth discussions on the issues involved, to unite the strengths of different disciplines, to build a platform for communication within and outside the region, and to further strengthen the protection of intellectual property rights in the context of the “Belt and Road”. Analysis from different perspectives along the "Belt and Road" initiative to further advance the opportunities and challenges, and know the situation of our country, Fully inspect and understand China's national conditions, comply with the international protection development trend of intellectual property rights, provide path design ideas for the innovation of intellectual property dispute resolution mechanism, and promote institutional coordination and intercommunication between China and other countries in the world.
