Dear members and partners,
Currently, cross-border flows of teachers and students are impeded because of the COVID-19 pandemic. Therefore, to provide high-quality international education resources for teachers and students of University Alliance of the Silk Road(UASR), sub-alliances of UASR developed the University Alliance of the Silk Road Virtual Summer Courses 2020. It was hosted by the UASR Secretariat, Politecnico di Milano, the rotating chair of UASR in 2020 and International Knowledge Centre for Engineering Sciences and Technology under the auspices of UNESCO(IKCEST). The courses are open for free to university teachers and students. Covering eight areas of energy, mechanism, materials, medicine, management, tourism, architectural design and chemicals, the courses will be taught by well-known experts and scholars from the world who focus on frontier and leading-edge industry knowledge. Detailed information are as follows:
1. Course Duration
From July 20 to July 31, 2020(Videos of lectures will be uploaded at 8 a.m. Beijing time from Monday to Friday; There will be 10-13 class hours for each course. )
2. Ways of Participation
Step 1: Input the website below or scan the QR code to register.

Step 2: Click the “+Register” control on the top right of the interface, enter the course selection and input the corresponding course verify code (See attached below) according to the selected course. For course arrangement, please also see attached below.
Step 3: Go to the Learning page to begin course study. Visit http://ss.mooc.xjtudlc.com to start online study from July 20, 2020 to July 31, 2020.
The Username is the email address you filled in when you registered, and the password is ikcest. The account
will be available after 00:00 GMT+8 on July 20, 2020
Step 4: Go back to the Registration Page when finishing all courses and take the online exam before filling in the questionnaire. Details on the platform registration and course selection can be found in the attachment 2.
